Schedule a call where we can discuss your goals and the design options for your business. At that virtual meeting, we'll discuss your specific situation and desires, and I'll provide you with useful tips and feedback that you can implement right away. Then, you'll decide if you want to accelerate your progress by getting on my schedule for your one-month Business Start-Up Package.
We’ll spend an entire month getting clarity around your strategy, your systems, your offer, branding, website, and marketing. You will spend time refining your branding story, your website copy, marketing emails, and blog posts or videos.
I’ll spend time creating the awesome new visual assets for your business. I’ll design a logo and brand you love with the ideal colors, fonts, images, and graphics that represent you best. Then I’ll implement your brand visuals throughout a brand new custom Squarespace website that I’ll design for your lovely business and connect your email service to your opt-in gift.
Step 3
Launch
At the end of the month, we’ll launch your website and announce it to the world. Then, you’ll continue to market your website by driving traffic to your opt-in gift, gather thousands of emails, and convert these people to raving fans and loyal clients.

You need to know which pages you want me to design on your website, have the images for your website taken and picked out, and the copy written for each page. Oh, and you need to own the domain you want your website on or it needs to be available for purchase. Don’t worry if you don’t have all this done before booking. Once you’re booked on my schedule, I will send you a workbook to guide you through it.

I used to design websites in Wordpress, but after dealing with so many technical headaches with plug-ins, back-ups, updates, server issues, crashes, down-time, hosting problems, and SSL certificate issues, I decided to switch to Squarespace so my clients can avoid the tech overwhelm and just focus on making money in their business.

Although I have done copy for clients in the past, now I only offer suggestions for refining copy. I found that it works best to have it done before we get started working together so that we can get your site launched within the one-month time period. However, you’ll get a Brand & Website Preparation Workbook to guide you with writing your own awesome copy.

Just before we launch your website, I will train you on how to do your own updates to your website. You will be empowered to maintain your own website without the expense of hiring me again.
However, if you need additional help, you can schedule a one-hour free follow-up call with me within 30 days after your program ends.
I also offer One-Hour Consult Calls based on my availability and for a $197.00 fee.

If you are unable to pay in full, you have the option to split your payment into 2 payments with half up-front and the second half 2 weeks after the project begins. If the second payment isn’t made, the remainder of the project will get cancelled and the design assets will remain the property of Trudi Baker Design.

The short answer is yes. You will own the rights to your website and the design work to use them as intended when hiring me. However, you will not have the right to sell the logo and other design assets without my written permission. I will also retain the right to display my design work including your logo and website in my portfolio for marketing purposes. This gives your business free exposure, so it’s a win-win.
